What Is an OLED Display?
An OLED display (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) is a display technology where each pixel produces its own light. An organic material acts like a tiny LED that emits light when current passes.
How Does It Work?
Each pixel consists of an organic layer that glows when voltage passes through it. There's no backlight; when a pixel is off no light comes out, which means true black.
Difference From LCD
Since an LCD can't turn off its backlight, its black looks gray; in OLED an off pixel gives no light. OLED is also thinner, more flexible and has a wider viewing angle.

Disadvantages
