General & About the Platform

What is PartAndStock?

PartAndStock is a meta-search and B2B sourcing platform for electronic components. With a single search it brings together the price, stock and lead-time information of global distributors and local suppliers, helping engineers and procurement teams find the right part on the best terms.

How does PartAndStock work?

You type the part number (MPN), brand or product name you want to search. PartAndStock combines offers from different sources in one consistent format and shows you the lowest price, total stock and lead times. You can compare the offers you like, add them to your BOM list and evaluate alternative parts.

Is PartAndStock a distributor or seller?

No. PartAndStock is a comparison and sourcing platform; it does not own inventory. It transparently brings together data from different distributors and suppliers so you can compare price and stock and make the best decision.

Who uses PartAndStock?

Hardware and electronic design engineers, procurement and sourcing specialists, R&D teams, manufacturing SMEs, and distributors and local suppliers who want to publish their own inventory use PartAndStock.

What sets PartAndStock apart from similar component search sites?

Many component search engines only list price and stock. PartAndStock, however, brings local suppliers together with global distributors under one roof, offers a full local-language experience, surfaces alternative/equivalent part suggestions, and includes BOM (bill of materials) costing/risk-analysis tools. It's not just search — it's an end-to-end sourcing ecosystem.

Do I need technical knowledge to use the platform?

No. The interface is simple and fast; just type the part number and start searching. Advanced features like BOM upload and comparison are also easy to use with step-by-step guidance.

Search & Product Information

How do I search for a part?

Type the part number (MPN), brand or product name into the search box on the home page and press Enter or click the search button. You can also quickly pick from the autocomplete suggestions that appear as you type.

What is an MPN?

An MPN (Manufacturer Part Number) is the unique part number assigned by a part's manufacturer. For example, NE555P is the MPN of a timer IC. Searching by MPN gives the most accurate and fastest results.

How do I find an equivalent (alternative) part?

On a part's page or in the comparison screen, you'll see suggestions for equivalent/alternative components that can functionally replace it. This lets you evaluate suitable alternatives instead of an out-of-stock or expensive part.

How current are the price and stock figures?

Data is refreshed periodically from the sources and cached for fast delivery; the aim is always to show the most current price and stock status. Even so, we recommend confirming the relevant distributor's real-time status before large orders.

What is a price break?

Most components are priced in tiers by quantity: the more you buy, the lower the unit price. For example, 1 unit might be ₺0.55 while 100 units are ₺0.42. PartAndStock shows all price tiers transparently.

Can I access technical documents (datasheets)?

Yes. When available, the product page links to the manufacturer's datasheet and technical documents, so you can verify the part's electrical and mechanical properties.

In which currency are prices shown, and do they include VAT?

Prices may be shown in currencies like TRY, USD or EUR depending on the offer's source. Taxes (VAT) vary by supplier and country; unless stated otherwise the displayed prices may exclude tax, and you can confirm the exact amount on the relevant distributor's page.

BOM Tool (Bill of Materials)

What is a BOM?

A BOM (Bill of Materials) is the list of all components and quantities needed to manufacture a product. By uploading your BOM, PartAndStock lets you price and analyze all parts at once.

How do I upload my BOM?

You can upload your Excel/CSV file from the BOM Tool page. The system matches part numbers; you then see the best price, stock and alternatives for each line.

What is the BOM tool for?

It calculates the instant total cost of hundreds of parts in minutes, flags missing/risky parts, offers alternative suggestions and greatly speeds up your quoting process.

What does BOM risk analysis mean?

Risk analysis evaluates the lifecycle status of parts (e.g. end-of-life/EOL), stock adequacy and supply risk. This way you notice critical bottlenecks in your design before going into production.

Does my BOM data stay confidential?

Yes. The BOM data you upload is private to your account and kept confidential; it is not shared with third parties.

Membership & Account

Is membership free?

Basic search and comparison features are free. Premium subscription plans such as Silver, Gold and Platinum are offered for BOM credits, advanced reports and higher usage limits.

How do I sign up?

You can create a free account in seconds with your email and password from the registration page. Corporate users also add company details to benefit from B2B features.

What's the difference between an individual and a corporate account?

An individual account is suitable for search and personal use. A corporate account provides additional features for company details, tax/billing information and corporate procurement workflows.

What do premium plans offer?

Premium plans include higher BOM and report credits, advanced analyses and priority features. You can choose Silver, Gold or Platinum according to your needs.

I forgot my password, what should I do?

Click the 'Forgot password' link on the login page and reset your password using the instructions sent to your email.

How do I close my account?

Can I publish products before being approved?

You can sign in to your partner panel, but your products are published in search results only after your membership is approved. This preserves the quality and reliability of listings.

API & Integration

Does PartAndStock have an API?

Yes. We offer an enterprise external API for programmatic access to aggregated component data. With a single integration you reach the price and stock data of multiple suppliers.

What can I use the API for?

You can use it to keep part costs up to date in your ERP/MRP systems, automatically price BOMs and monitor stock/supply for critical parts. It eliminates manual data entry.

How do I access the API?

You apply by filling out the form on our API page. When your application is approved, a private, secure API key is created for you, which you use in your requests.

Is the API secure?

Yes. Keys are stored encrypted, verified securely, rate-limited per key and can be revoked at any time.

What is the Affiliate Program?

The Affiliate Program is a revenue-sharing program for content creators, engineers and businesses who recommend PartAndStock to their audience. You earn commission when users who come through your personal referral link shop or purchase a premium membership.

How do I become an affiliate?

From which transactions do I earn commission?

You earn commission from valid product orders placed by users who come through your referral link and from the premium subscription plans they purchase. Your current commission rates appear clearly in your partner panel after approval.

When and how do I receive my earnings?

Commissions become payable after the relevant order's return window closes. When your approved balance exceeds the minimum payout threshold, you create a payout request from the panel; after review, it is paid to your IBAN by bank transfer.

Is it paid to become an affiliate?

No. Joining the program is completely free; there is no obligation to hold stock, run operations or pay in advance. It's enough to apply and be approved.

Can I leave the program whenever I want?

Yes. You can leave the program at any time from the settings in the partner panel. The commissions you've earned are preserved and you can reapply later if you wish. All rules on commission, attribution and prohibited methods are defined in the Partnership Terms.
