What Is the ST7735? Color TFT Display Controller and Uses
The ST7735 is a display controller that drives small color TFT LCD screens. It is found in the most common 1.8" 128×160 (65K color) modules and connects over SPI (VCC/GND/SCK/SDA/RES/DC/CS/BLK, 3.3 V). Unlike the SSD1306 it is color; it is driven with Adafruit ST7735/TFT_eSPI.

What is the ST7735 used for?
A small, colorful graphic interface: menus, dashboards, small images and graphics. Unlike the SSD1306 OLED it is color; unlike the HD44780 it can draw graphics. It is driven with the Adafruit ST7735 / TFT_eSPI libraries on Arduino.
Connection (SPI)
Typical pins: VCC, GND, SCK, SDA(MOSI), RES, DC, CS, BLK (backlight). 3.3 V logic; on 5 V boards a level shifter is recommended.
